It's amazing what you could do with the newer data tools. It took about 15 minutes to do visualize Most Populous cities of the world: 1. Excel: Searched for data via Data Explorer add-in 2. Excel: Shaped and Filtered data via Data Explorer 3. Opened data in Tableau 4. Dragged couple of columns on the canvas and switched the visualization to Geo-Maps 5. Did some basic formatting.... And here you go:
